Just call me Martha

Time to get my freak on, or as I would like to call it, my Martha on. Starting tomorrow, and this time I am actually serious about this. I will be starting the crafts, and other multitude of things I have planned for the past 2 months but never got around to doing because I am a lazy bum who likes sitting on her ass too much. So tomorrow, is phase one in my Martha Stewartness, and I’m totally down for it. Let’s see what happens.

While surfing the Internet for some grand ideas, I found this one here. Very simple, and nothing a 5 year old can't make. I figured, why go out and by a bathroom mat when I could easily make one then brag about it later when I creepily drag my friend into my bathroom to show them how crafty I've been. I think for this one however, I will use a multitude of fabrics and make it colorful.
I promise to post the aftermath of this one when I get around to doing it, tomorrow I think I will head down to the thrift store and buy some material, and well as going to Rona to buy the rest of anything else I need.

Isn't this adorable? No really, you know all that loose crap you have hanging around the house? Well why not make something out of it, and make a cute little wind chime that will annoy your neighbors and make you smile at the same time.  I'm thinking of going through my junk box and seeing what I can find.

More amazingly adorable? I know, I just keep finding them, thank pinterest for that, they just give me a load of ideas to work from. This looks relatively simple, and nothing a quick trip to Rona can't fix. I have a lot of nick knacks and old books lying around that could be put to some good use I think.
